United States Retail Sales rose by 1.2% MoM in August

Retail Sales in the United States increased to $773.9 billion in August, the US Census Bureau reported on Wednesday. This print represents a monthly gain of 1.2%, a reversal of the 0.5% contraction recorded in the previous month, and came in above market expectations (+0.8%).
